According to Nollywood actor and politician Kenneth Okonkwo, Nigerians are tired of President Bola Tinubu.
Okonkwo, a prominent member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and a lawyer, stated that Tinubu must resign in 2027.
“We’ve had enough!” he stated in a post on X. Tinubu must resign in 2027. God aids those who assist themselves. May God bless you on this Sunday.
For the 2027 election, Okonkwo further stated that the ADC is the only credible opposition party.
He accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of intimidating Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe for joining ADC following his expulsion from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
“The only potential opposition party for the 2027 election is ADC.
“Senator Godswill Akpabio left the PDP to join the APC, claiming he was expelled from his party. He presented the proof of his expulsion to the Federal High Court, which was presided over by Justice Okon Abang. The court ruled that you are free to join another party and that being expelled from your party will not affect your seat.
The fact that the same Akpabio is persecuting Senator Abaribe for joining ADC after being kicked out of his party, APGA, is disgraceful.
Additionally, the APC lawmakers applauded Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh for switching from APGA to APC. Doubtful discrimination, Okonkwo said.
