The Ajimobi family is again in mourning over the death of Alhaji Teslim Ajimobi, a younger brother of the former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi.
He was thought to have been 67 years old.
Teslim Ajimobi passed away in London on Thursday, six years after his older brother Abiola Ajimobi died in 2020, BBC reports.
His death is another blow for the family which has been hit by a number of deaths in recent years including one of the former governor’s daughters.
Details of the cause of his death were not available at the time of filing this report.
The family had also not issued an official statement announcing the development .
Teslim Ajimobi was a politician and business man before his death.
He was the Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government Area of Oyo State in 2017 where he was involved in grassroot administration and community affairs.
He was involved in business both in Nigeria and abroad as well as politics.
He had interests in a number of ventures and held leadership positions in private companies including Teslis Global Services Ltd of London.
Family, friends and associates are said to be saddened by the news, remembering him for his relationships with people and his participation in public and business life.
