Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 housemate Abisola ‘Abi’ Ayoola has become the Head of House (HoH) for the second time this season.
Abi was reportedly crowned the Head of House after defeating Gerard in the final round of Monday night’s Head of House challenge.
The development made her the first female housemate to win the HoH title twice in the ongoing ‘Show Ya Sef’ edition of the reality TV show.
The organizers said Abi emerged victorious after several elimination rounds that eventually left her and Gerard to battle for the coveted position. In a statement posted on their website, the organizers said:
“It was another near miss for Gerard, who came within touching distance of the HoH title again. But Abi held her nerve in the last round to bring home the win,” said the organizers.
The latest HoH win also came with a major change to the privileges attached to the position.
Unlike the previous weeks, there was no Lucky Dip to determine who would get to enter the HoH Loft. The organizers said the Loft is now directly owned by the Head of House.
This makes Abi the first HoH this season to get to enjoy the Loft privilege herself. Abi later chose Temi Nkem to join her in the HoH Loft.
The organizers also announced that this week’s HoH will be eligible to take part in next week’s Head of House challenge.
In prior seasons, a departing HoH was not allowed to compete for HoH the very next week.
After the HoH challenge ended, Big Brother also announced changes to the nomination process.

Following many discussions about nominations, conspiracy and possible saves among housemates, the usual saves were canceled.
In the new arrangement, only Abi as Head of House and Sheba as Most Influential Player of the Week are safe from possible eviction.
The other housemates are now up for eviction.
Meanwhile, Bells has once again emerged as the Benchwarmer after Big Brother asked Yusuf, Bells, Ricky, Aikou, Nomy and Sheba to roll the die.
Bells rolled a one, the lowest score. Yusuf and Sheba rolled two. Nomy rolled four, Ricky and Aikou both had six.
