Nigerian skit maker Oderhowho Joseph Efe popularly known as Carter Efe has lost his official TikTok page after the platform permanently banned the page for repeated violation of its community guidelines.
It was reported on Wednesday the ban had been confirmed.
TikTok said the account had violated its rules multiple times.
Carter Efe’s banned account, which was taken down, had amassed over 5.6 million followers and more than 158 million likes.
The page was one of his main channels to share comedy videos, promote music and engage with fans through live broadcasts.
The latest development is not the first time Carter Efe has lost a TikTok account.
Another account of the skit maker was taken down by TikTok in June 2025 with approximately 3.5 million followers.
The move comes after a row over his comments about Nigerian singer Wizkid on a live stream.
The content creator would later apologize for the incident and return to the platform, where he slowly rebuilt his following and eventually grew the replacement account to over 5.6 million followers.

Elsewhere, Carter Efe has spoken about why he stopped making relationship content with his ex-girlfriend.
The comedian reportedly spoke about his relationship content from yesteryear and the difficulties he faced while making videos with his ex-partner during a recent episode of Cocktails & Takeaways.
Carter explained that his online content had become so entwined with his relationship that it was hard for him to make videos if his girlfriend wasn’t around.
Later on, he said he realized that building his career around another person could affect his growth and personal identity.
“I started to see the need to separate my own brand from my relationship so my career would not depend on whether I was with my partner or not,” he said.
