Popular comedian Sabinus has called attention to the need for Nigerians to unite in demanding good governance, expressing disappointment over how citizens are treated when they speak about the country’s problems.
In a social media post, the entertainer questioned why people who demand accountability from public officials are frequently advised to mind their business, while those who choose not to participate in national discussions are also subjected to criticism.
According to Sabinus, the situation raises questions about the willingness of Nigerians to come together and demand what they believe they are entitled to from those in authority.
He wrote, “A lot is going on in this country and we’re just keeping quiet. You demand for good governance, they tell you to mind your business. You try to mind your business, they still insult you. When are we going to come as one and demand for what we’re being owed?”
The comedian’s message has drawn attention to the importance of citizens’ voices in discussions about leadership, public accountability and national development.

His comments also reflect the frustrations of people who believe that public concerns should be taken seriously rather than dismissed or met with personal attacks.
Nigeria continues to face debates over economic conditions, government policies and the measures required to improve the welfare of its citizens.
Meanwhile, Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has recognised the difficulties facing Nigerians while defending the need to address the country’s longstanding problems.
He stated that every generation inherits challenges but must make decisions that create better conditions for those who follow.
Seyi Tinubu said the current administration had opted to confront Nigeria’s problems, maintaining that its decisions were aimed at building a better future for younger citizens.
His remarks come amid continuing public discussions about the government’s approach to national challenges and the results Nigerians expect from its policies.
