Actress Bidemi Kosoko is celebrating her 40th birthday, expressing gratitude to God for the milestone while appreciating her father, veteran actor Jide Kosoko, for his unwavering love, prayers and support following the death of her mother.
The actress shared her feelings in her birthday message, saying she woke up with immense joy as she marked a new chapter in her life.
According to Bidemi, the first call came at midnight, bringing prayers and blessings.
She said the gesture moved her to tears as she reflected on her journey and the absence of her late mother.

“I woke up this morning with so much joy in my heart! Today I am 40 and grateful!
“The first call I got at exactly 12 AM was from my Dad, showering me with prayers and blessings. At that moment, tears filled my eyes.
“My Mum is no longer here to celebrate with me, and I miss her so much every day, but God has been faithful. Even without my Mum, my Dad has been, both a father and a mother to me. He never left any gap; he stood by me, supported me, and loved me unconditionally.
“Thank you, Daddy, for filling both roles so beautifully, for your love and your prayers. Thank you, Jesus, for 40 years”, she wrote.
