Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has told fans that he has stopped impregnating women, making the statement during a performance in Calgary, Canada.
The singer reportedly made the declaration at Rehab Lounge on Saturday while performing his hit song True Love.
During the show, he paused the music to interact with the audience, asking where his true love might be among the women at the venue.
He jokingly wondered whether she was standing at the back or somewhere in front of him, inviting the women present to respond.
The singer then turned the exchange towards his personal experiences, saying he no longer had a habit of getting women pregnant.
“For the purpose of this show, I will pretend like I’ve never seen anything before. Where’s my true love? Is she back there? Is she right here? Is she somewhere here?” he said.
He added that some women were often reluctant to shout in response to his remarks, but insisted that he was comfortable making his declaration publicly.

The comments have attracted attention because of the singer’s previous relationships and family history.
2Baba was formerly married to actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia, with whom he has two children. Their separation became public in January 2025.
The award-winning musician remains a familiar figure in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, and his public comments about love and relationships often attract interest from fans.
His latest declaration came during a live show, where he mixed music with humour and audience participation.
Although the statement has prompted discussion online, the available report does not indicate whether he intended it as a formal announcement about his future family plans.
The moment has nevertheless added to the conversation surrounding the singer’s personal life and public image.
