The conflict between Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike and Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara is expected to engulf the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), according to Comrade Austin Okai, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

According to reports, Wike and Fubara recently rekindled their spat after the Minister pledged to thwart the governor’s attempt to win reelection.

However, several of the top leaders of the APC support Fubara, who is now a member of the ruling party.

However, a verbal spat broke out between Wike and the national leadership of the ruling party after he advised the party stalwart to avoid becoming involved in Rivers State politics.

Okai made the prediction that the issue would spread to other regions of the nation in an interview with TVC News on Tuesday.

“Wike did not only attack the APC National Secretary, he attacked the NSA and all of them,” he declared. For more than ten years, Rivers State has been the starting point of the governing party crisis.

“Unless the president finds the political guts to summon the FCT Minister to order, what you see in Rivers will destroy the APC.” He has stated that Rivers State is essential to his political survival, but we are unsure of the terms of his deal with the president.

“Even more than the APC National Chairman, NSA, and the President’s Chief of Staff, Mike is speaking harshly.” More than the president, Wike speaks.
