According to activist attorney Deji Adeyanju, Peter Obi is being supported by President Bola Tinubu’s followers in order to become the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) presidential candidate.
According to Adeyanju, Obi is receiving support from Tinubu’s main allies, including former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose and Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo, to run for ADC.
He was responding to Fayose’s statement that Obi is the only person alive in ADC.
“Peter Obi is the only life in ADC,” Fayose had declared. There are other semi-existent life there. PDP was destroyed by Atiku and Tambuwal.
Adeyanju questioned why people are terrified of a Northern presidential candidate in a post on X.
“Why are all significant Tinubu supporters endorsing Peter Obi as their man on Friday?” he wrote. They want the coalition to introduce Obi, from Keyamo to Fayose, etc.
Why does it appear that they fear a candidate from the north, particularly Atiku, the serial contester? Their worry is too evident.
