Daniel Onjeh, a former All Progressives Congress (APC) senate candidate from Benue South, has stated that Governor Hyacinth Alia’s reelection will not be thwarted by a political slander.
In a press statement released in Makurdi on Tuesday, Onjeh made this claim.
He bemoaned the premeditated nature of the ongoing attacks against the Alia administration and said that the perpetrators were intimidated by the governor’s refusal to further their political objectives.
Onjeh declared, “Governor Alia will not be prevented from winning reelection in 2027 by any campaign of calumny, smear, or sponsored attack.”
He continued by saying that the governor’s performance has already won the public’s respect, trust, and confidence.
He clarified that the attacks are intentional attempts to divert the administration’s attention from achieving tangible outcomes while simultaneously attempting to mislead the public with false information and noise.
Onjeh contended that since Nigeria’s return to democracy in 1999, Governor Alia’s administration has demonstrated observable, people-focused accomplishments that outperform those of other administrations.
Since Nigeria restored to democratic governance in 1999, Governor Alia’s administration has demonstrated observable, people-focused accomplishments that clearly outperform those of prior administrations. Instead of caving in to the political demands of the elite, the current administration has demonstrated extraordinary discipline, clarity of purpose, and dedication to meeting the actual needs of average citizens.
Onjeh stated, “Benue is undergoing a quiet but deliberate transformation.”
He pointed out that political theatrics and noise-making are not the governor’s style.
He claims that outcomes, not propaganda, are what characterize the Alia government.
The story goes on underneath the advertisement.
Even though they are not heavily publicized, he emphasized that policy-driven interventions and infrastructure investments are driving progress.
