Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike met with President Bola Tinubu on Monday (today).

It was understood that a few state political figures attended the meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Governor Fubara escorted Wike to his home in Guzape, Abuja, following the meeting, according to the source.

According to the source, the governor made a plea to the minister during the visit and promised to treat them with dignity moving ahead.

The minister was reportedly urged by Fubara to never treat him disrespectfully again.

The two political heavyweights had previously met with President Tinubu, reportedly to discuss political tensions in Rivers State.
