In Kaduna State, the parish priest of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kadarko Local Government Area, Rev. Fr. Linus Matthew Bobai, claims that robbers broke into their community and abducted the catechist and his expectant wife along with thirty other people.

In an interview with Arise Television on Wednesday, Bobai revealed this.

He emphasizes that many locals have fled for their life and claims that there is friction in the neighborhood.

Sincerely, following the assault, a few troops from the nearby hamlet roamed around before we eventually saw them returning, and that’s all.

“We have a disability.” With more than 98% of the population moving to a nearby village, the neighborhood is tense. We who slept in the village yesterday are not quite forty years old.

Because of their anxiety and other factors, several of them left this evening. We’re really tense. As pastors, we are unable to flee, therefore even if some of us are terrified, we urged a few others to stay and care for the community,” the priest stated.
