Nigerians have been reassured by President Bola Tinubu that the nation will not permit those who wish to incite instability to undermine its independence, peace, and unity.

According to reports, the President made the promise on Monday during an interfaith breaking of the fast at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where religious and traditional leaders were present.

In an effort to foster harmony and collaboration, the gathering brought together leaders from many traditional organizations and faiths throughout the nation.

Tinubu discussed the nation’s security issues throughout the event, focusing on terrorist activity in particular.

According to him, the attackers are growing increasingly desperate as security forces keep up their attacks.

He asserts that Nigeria will continue to combat them in spite of the violence they leave behind.

The nation is still committed to defeating the perpetrators and bringing about peace, according to the president.

He went on to say that the government will keep working till the nation is safer and will not be deterred by the acts of violent groups.

Tinubu also discussed the health of the economy, emphasizing that since his administration assumed office, things had begun to improve.

He claimed that although the government inherited severe economic challenges, it has been able to stabilize the situation.

The President claims that his administration’s actions have prevented a financial crisis from occurring in the nation.

He clarified that efforts are being made by the government to guarantee that pensioners receive their benefits and compensation over time.

According to Tinubu, the status of the economy has improved to the point where state governors no longer have to struggle to borrow money from banks in order to cover employee salaries.

According to him, the administration will keep trying to improve Nigerians’ living conditions and boost the country’s economy.

Additionally, the President reaffirmed his dedication to funding vital industries like agriculture and education. According to him, these sectors will contribute to a better future for the coming generation and are essential for the country’s development.

Nigerians should not give up, Tinubu said, reassuring them that his administration is still committed to creating a more secure and wealthy nation.

Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe, commended the President for convening leaders of the two major religions to break the fast during his speech.

He claimed that notwithstanding religious differences, Nigerians are united in this meeting.

In addition, the traditional ruler prayed for national harmony and requested heavenly protection and direction for the country and its leaders.

The Etsu Nupe went to the function on behalf of Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, and the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.

Speaking as well, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, declared that the Christian community would continue to back initiatives meant to boost the nation’s security and economy.

The Evangelical Church Winning All President, Dr. Stephen Baba-Panya, represented Okoh.

Traditional chiefs and religious leaders from Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones attended the occasion.

The event was a component of events held throughout Ramadan with the goal of fostering harmony, harmony, and collaboration among Nigerians.
