Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, a senator who represents Kogi Central in the National Assembly, has confirmed that she is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and has urged Nigerians and party members to follow suit.

According to reports, Natasha revealed this on her verified social media accounts.

Using the party’s internet registration page, the politician claimed to have finished the certification process.

She referred to the PDP as Nigeria’s most powerful opposition platform and emphasized that in order to strengthen democratic involvement and advance inclusivity, members across the country must actively participate.

“The PDP e-registration domain is now secure,” she stated. I’ve authenticated my membership; please do the same. Sign up today. It’s straightforward.

The PDP leadership is working to digitize its membership information and increase grassroots engagement in advance of the upcoming general election, which is why Senator Natasha took this move.

In the meantime, Natasha has refuted a widely shared video on social media that purports to show her endorsing a phony investment plan.

On Sunday, the congressman issued a public warning, characterizing the video as altered and deceptive content produced by scammers to trick gullible people.

Nigerians were advised by Akpoti-Uduaghan to ignore the video and refrain from interacting with any investment site that is associated with it.

The senator clarified that the viral video was altered from a prior TV interview she gave to journalist Seun Okinbaloye in a statement posted on her official social media accounts.

She claims that the interview tape was distorted and altered by criminals to give the impression that she was advocating a bogus investment site.
