Kenneth Okonkwo, a seasoned politician and actor, has accused followers of the “City Boy Movement” (CBM) of compromising their morals in order to benefit themselves.

In a recent interview with Symfoni TV, Okonkwo claimed that the organization supporting President Bola Tinubu’s reelection campaign is made up of political scavengers.

According to him, the current government is “feeding on crumbs” that fall from the President’s table because of their alignment.

The Igbo people have disassociated themselves from the movement, Okonkwo continued.

He maintained that the collective will and dignity of the Ndigbo are not reflected in the conduct of some local politicians who have supported the President.

“The Igbo have turned them down. It is disrespectful to Ndigbo. We wear our Isiagu because we eat fresh meat and hunt with honor, much like lions. Okonkwo said, “We don’t scavenge like vultures.”

He went on to call people using the movement to gain political favor “political children drinking from Tinubu’s feeding bottle” and stated that he would prefer to keep his dignity than pursue importance through “rotten crumbs.”

Okonkwo, who has emerged as a leading advocate for the opposition in recent years, insisted that his abilities and capabilities, not political favoritism, have always supported his career.
