Emma Umerah, the head of Goodluck Nigeria, says that former President Goodluck Jonathan is the only person who can stabilize and reengineer Nigeria’s growth and development.
Umerah said, “He has the stabilizing mien needed at this point in time,” pointing out Jonathan’s leadership style and vision.
Umerah said in a press release that Jonathan’s calling the National Constitutional Conference was proof that he could bring Nigerians together.
He said, “Jonathan has the calming presence that Nigeria needs right now to bring the country together, calm frayed nerves, and make sure that people with different interests come together to talk about a new plan for the country’s growth.” The country needs a leader who is calm, humble, and has a vision for the future.
“To show you that Goodluck is a peaceful man who works with others to improve the country, he called the National Constitutional Conference, where leaders from different parts of the country met to talk and find a way to make everyone happy.”
“That working document, if his successors had followed it, the country would not be in the mess it is now, with the economic and security problems we have.”
He told citizens’ groups and communities to back Jonathan’s 2027 bid, saying he was the only person who could do the job well and honestly.
