The All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded its primary elections where candidates to fly the party’s ticket emerged ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Serving governors who would be ending their terms by 2027, former governors and serving lawmakers were reported to have dominated the list of candidates that emerged from across the nation.
However, some senatorial districts are yet to produce candidates as primary elections either hold results are inconclusive or the exercise is yet to be conducted as a result of internal wrangling, zoning disagreements, logistical problems and postponements.
