Mrs John-Paul, 43, was reportedly abducted by some gunmen around 7:30am on her way to take her children to school in Ibadan. The abductors also took her 12-year-old twin sons who were with her at the time of the incident.

She is the youngest of the 5 children of Mrs. Olufunmilayo Aduke Adegoke Adelabu, Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul. Until her voluntary retirement last year, she had served meritoriously at Central Bank of Nigeria and First Bank Pension Custodian.
