Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed met with members of the state’s All Progressives Congress, or APC, House of Representatives on Thursday.
The governor is reportedly finalizing plans to replace the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with the ruling party at the time of the meeting.
“We are here today as members of the National Assembly to meet with our governor and leader, we are here today on a special invitation to discuss the ongoing realignment that is going on in Nigeria and most especially in our state,” a member of the Bauchi House of Representatives, whose identity was withheld, said to the media following the meeting while Mohammed was present. to talk about our state’s political evolution.
“We have come to a certain positive conclusion, and in a short time we will come out again and make our position known so that the world can understand the nature of our discussions.”
As he weighs his choices ahead of the upcoming elections, Mohammed and a senior PDP member had already met with several African Democratic Congress (ADC) leaders.
