Peter Obi, a contender for presidency of the Labour Party in 2023, has formally joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Obi reportedly formally declared for the ADC in Enugu State on Wednesday, along with a few other political figures from the South-East geographical zone.
The leaders gave an explanation of their decision, stating that it was made in order to “rescue Nigeria from the poor governance of the All Progressives Congress (APC)”.
