Members of the African Democratic Congress, or ADC, are not ready for the next elections, according to Daniel Bwala, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Policy Communication.
Bwala made the comments while denouncing opposition members of the party, accusing them of being uncoordinated and unprepared for the election.
In response to allegations that Tinubu was scheming to turn Nigeria into a one-party state, Bwala charged ADC members with introducing foreign meddling into the country’s electoral process.
“The opposition members under the umbrella of ADC know quite well that they are not ready for the election since they all want to be president,” he stated in a post on X.
“They have now resorted to importing foreign interference into our elections by accusing one party state, as if the foreign governments don’t have their embassies and commissions here in Nigeria to know the Association of party-grabbing elements’ lack of preparation.”
This occurs after Tinubu was accused of turning Nigeria into a one-party state by ADC head Peter Obi.
Rotimi Amaechi stated that despite efforts to undermine Nigeria’s democracy, the APC-led government would lose in 2027 while speaking at the ADC demonstration at the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) headquarters over the deregistration of the David Mark-led breakaway.
