There is no animosity between the administration of President Bola Tinubu and former ministers who worked for the late former president Muhammadu Buhari, according to former Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed.
Mohammed clarified this on Monday during an interview on “Sunrise Daily,” a Channels Television program.
He was responding to accusations of corruption made against certain former ministers.
The lawmaker, who was born in Kwara, emphasized that Buhari accomplished a great deal during his eight years in office and said that his legacy was not on trial.
To be honest, I don’t notice any cold relationships. As someone who has served as a spokesperson for both the government and the opposition, you can see that I have witnessed both sides of the conflict.
“And I can understand why it would seem, probably occasionally, that one program or another is being discontinued, but really, like we say in politics, we campaign in poetry, but we rule in prose,” he remarked.
