This weekend’s crowded Matchday 22 schedule for the 2025–2026 English Premier League offers drama at both ends of the table.

Chris Sutton, a former Chelsea striker, has provided BBC Sport with his predictions for the next round of Premier League games.

The main event on Saturday is Manchester United’s early kickoff matchup with Manchester City, which could have a significant impact on the Champions League spots and the title chase.

Chelsea will play Brentford at Stamford Bridge, while Liverpool will host Burnley in the evening match. Under the lights, Nottingham Forest will also entertain Arsenal, the league leaders.
