President Bola Tinubu’s backing and commitment to completing projects on schedule, according to Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike, are the primary causes of the territory’s infrastructural advancement.

Wike made this statement on Wednesday in Abuja during an inspection of current projects throughout the Federal Capital Territory. He emphasized that Tinubu actively monitored project development because of his strong dedication to the welfare of FCT residents and the provision of high-quality services.

“Mr. President is not only supporting us, but also making sure that the jobs are finished on time and to the expected quality,” he stated. In the Kaura District, on Arterial Road S1, from Ring Road II to the FCT Fire Service Station

Wike expressed optimism that the project will be completed and turned over within the next five months, praising the work’s speed and quality.

Additionally, he was pleased with the female hostel, which was supposed to be finished by November, after inspecting the building of two student dorms—one for men and one for women.

“I think the contractor working on the female hostel is doing a great job, and we ought to help him maintain the same pace.” Although it looks like a nice effort, I’m not entirely happy with the work that has been completed thus far.

Wike stated that although there may be some ambiguity, the contractor has committed to delivering by October or November.

He also noted that the school had awarded a contract to build an auditorium, and that the contractor will shortly start construction.
