President Bola Tinubu has been encouraged by Arise Television personality Rufai Oseni to prevent the proposed impeachment of Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara from moving further.
Oseni revealed that the impeachment of Fubara is a critique of Tinubu’s failure to defend governors on the All Progressives Congress, or APC, platform.
“If Fubara is impeached, it’s a big indictment on President Tinubu’s ability to protect APC governors,” Oseni stated in a Facebook post.
Additionally, this impeachment notice disproves the claims of government officials that the state of emergency was necessary to save Fubara.
“President Tinubu’s state of emergency did not save Fubara because an impeachment is still pending despite the state of emergency, no peace, and no settlement.”
“There’s no denying that Wike is presently in the lead in this battle. President Tinubu is fifty, while Wike is one hundred.
Is it possible for President Tinubu to protect Fubara from Wike? Will Fubara get the support of President Tinubu?
“Will the Chief Judge proceed with the procedure? Will the court injunction be upheld?
Will Wike oppose Tinubu and most likely join the opposition? We’ll see.
