Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara’s assistant, Darlington Orji, has stated that the impeachment attempt against his principal will not succeed.
Orji clarified that the State House of Assembly’s accusations against Fubara are untrue, hence the impeachment will be unsuccessful.
Orji stated on Arise Television’s Morning Show that Fubara’s wrongdoing and the purported financial embezzlement can only be explained by the Assembly.
“I can tell you for free that there is no truth in this process, so it will not scale through,” he stated. Additionally, as you mentioned, only they are able to determine when there is egregious wrongdoing or misappropriation.

“I’m not a member of the House, but I can tell you about us because I’m on the ground and because we reached out to so many of them. We have always collaborated in the past, and many of them are buddies.
