Fans are worried about popular Nigerian gospel and inspirational singer Busola Oke after she broke down in tears during a live Instagram session discussing her continuous difficulties in the music business.

The singer, who is well-known for her famous song Eleyele, broke down in tears as she apologized to her fans and acknowledged that the demands of her job were too much for her to handle.

“Good music is no longer in demand.”
As she expressed her dissatisfaction with what she called the harsh reality of today’s music industry, Oke sobbed candidly in the now-viral video.

I apologize to my fans. I’m at my breaking point, even though I never intended to do this. I have finished. Good music isn’t as popular these days. The absence of food makes it impossible to eat. In the absence of peace, how can one be at peace?” she said.

Her statement that skill and spiritual gifts were no longer enough to ensure success in Nigeria’s cutthroat entertainment industry betrayed a profound sense of emotional fatigue.

According to reports, the gospel singer has been embroiled in a protracted conflict with her producer, Bayo Films, which has hampered her career in recent years.

In the live session, she alluded to feeling abandoned by many of the people who used to be around her when she was at the height of her fame.

She claims that having unstable finances has made it hard to achieve peace of mind since she wonders how anyone could get by without basic necessities.

Since one cannot drive without owning a car, she rhetorically added, “There can be no peace when there is no financial stability.”

Oke gained popularity, according to reports, with spiritually uplifting songs that had a broad appeal both inside and outside of the Christian community.

Asoro Ma Tase, Alanu, Adaba, Ogo Tuntun, and Eleyele are a few of her well-known songs that solidified her status as a prominent figure in Nigerian gospel music.

After the heartfelt broadcast, supporters and well-wishers poured prayers and supportive messages into social media, pushing her to persevere in the face of adversity.

She was hailed by many as a blessing to the gospel music industry, and many expressed hope that she would get through her present difficult period.
