Tems, a famous Afrobeats artist, has declared that she no longer believes in love.
In a recent interview with media personality Korty EO, Tems claimed that a lot of guys today are motivated solely by physical desires.
Tems voiced dissatisfaction with contemporary dating, implying that many men only want surface-level physical relationships and are not truly interested in emotional connection.
“I no longer fall in love because a lot of these men just want to penetrate,” she remarked.
Tems, however, has described experiencing jeers when performing on stage at a school function.
According to reports, Tems recalled the difficulties she encountered early in her musical career in an interview with Big Boy TV.
The R&B singer claimed she was harassed with plastic bottles in addition to being jeered.
The “Crazy Tings” crooner claims that she was still committed to pursuing a career in music in spite of the awkward episode and numerous such rejections.
“I remember one time as an up-and-coming singer, I was going to perform at my school and I thought I was going to receive a standing ovation,” she recalled.
But I was jeered. Even plastic bottles were hurled at me.
Tems said that some of the early rejections she encountered might have resulted from her determination to maintain her uniqueness rather than perform covers or well-known songs like the majority of her classmates.
