Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a past governorial candidate, has called on Lagosians to vote in large numbers for Asiwaju Bola ahead of the 2027 presidential election, even as he appoints 376 Lagos4Lagos Ward Chairmen in order to do so.
At the formal launch of his Grassroots Political Structure, Lagos4Lagos, Jandor issued the order for the realization of President Bola Tinubu’s reelection and the general triumph of the Lagos APC in 2027 in all 376 Lagos State wards.
The purpose of yesterday’s well-attended session in Ikeja, Lagos, was to educate APC members, particularly those who support Adediran, about their responsibilities, the primary one being to secure Bola Tinubu’s reelection for a second term.
“What we’re doing is preparation for Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection. We know the campaign hasn’t started, but we believe tomorrow starts today, so the first thing to do is to put our own structure in place across the 376 wards of Lagos State, which is self-funded anyway,” he stated.
Lagos4Lagos has been a movement for the past nine years, according to Jandor, who expressed excitement at the enormous attendance.
“Today we inaugurated all the ward chairmen, 376 of them, all the LGA executive, we have state EXCOs, and we have the senatorial leaders,” he stated, discussing his willingness to sneak around Lagos to secure Asiwaju’s reelection.
“The Apex leaders are here.” I visited the 376 wards of Lagos State today in preparation for my campaign, just as I did during the 2023 election. We have resumed educating the public on the necessity of supporting this party in 2027, as well as the actions of the existing administration and the need to elect it to another term.
He stated that there won’t be a vacancy in Aso Rock until 2031, but he also emphasized the importance of being a party man who is prepared to follow the party leadership’s choice.
“The structure was put in place to support APC no matter whose name is on the ballot in the state, it’s also to ensure the reelection of the president Asiwaju Bola Tinubu,” he added, making it clear that he has declared his intention to run for state government and urging his loyalist work for its realization. He also called on his followers to refuse to be silenced.
“There is structure for non-Yorubas, and Lagos4Lagos has been restructured to also inculcate both old and new APC members so that everyone would feel like they belong.”
In order to spread the good news about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he urged his supporters to get ready for additional grassroots mobilization throughout Lagos.
Adediran, who criticized America’s stance on insecurity in Nigeria, praised the president’s excellent work and stated that all of the candidates who have indicated interest in leading Lagos State are qualified to do so.
He asserted that Nigeria is a secular nation with no official religion and that, although the president is a Muslim, he married a Christian, much like himself.
According to Jandor, if the United States is traveling to Nigeria in November to combat terrorism, they shouldn’t present the story of Muslims murdering Christians. Nigeria is an independent nation; there is no such thing as Muslims murdering Christians.
He defended the policies of President Bola Tinubu, which included taxing importers of petroleum items at a rate of 15%.
