The government of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been accused by Nollywood actor and politician Kenneth Okonkwo of purposefully keeping a lot of information from Nigerians.
According to reports, Okonkwo disclosed this in an interview on Channels Television’s “Sunrise Daily.”
Kenneth spoke on the recently finished Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections, which were held under an unidentified law and saw the APC win five of the six Area Councils.
The head of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) said that the ruling party is questionable and cautioned Nigerians not to be influenced by their actions.
Kenneth Okonkwo went on to ask why the Electoral Act 2026 gazetted copy has not been made public.
“Nigerians shouldn’t be carried away by what this dubious APC is doing,” he declared. The gazetted version of the Electoral Act 2026 has not yet been released.
“APC purposefully keeps everything a secret so Nigerians won’t even comprehend it until it’s too late.
“Unknown law was used to hold the FCT election. Additionally, this goes against the rule of law. A law must be made public before it may be enforced against the populace.
Kenneth Okonkwo recently claimed that the Edo State government or its operatives were responsible for the assassination attempt on Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for 2023.
It was remembered that Peter Obi and other ADC chieftains in Edo State were attacked by gunmen.
In an interview with “Prime Time” on Arise Television, Okonkwo remembered a prior warning to Peter Obi by incumbent Edo State Governor Monday Okpehbolo not to enter the state without his permission.
