The All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State Chapter stated on Friday that despite increased insecurity, Nigeria is taking significant, historic efforts to safeguard the country and restore stability.
According to Mogaji Seye Oladejo, the spokesperson for the APC’s arm, Tinubu boldly announced a State of Emergency on Security, demonstrating zero tolerance for criminal activity, terrorism, and sabotage.
Oladejo stated in a statement he signed that the president’s approval of the hiring of an extra 20,000 police officers, increasing the total number of new hires under his administration to an astounding 50,000, demonstrates his commitment to securing Nigeria.
He pointed out that the present hiring frenzy is the biggest security expansion in recent memory.
Oladejo claims that recent events have demonstrated that Tinubu is acting decisively.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is taking concrete, historic steps to secure Nigeria and restore national stability, in contrast to the empty talkers masquerading as statesmen,” he declared.
In a daring and unprecedented decision, he has declared a State of Emergency on Security, indicating that terrorism, sabotage, and criminal activity will not be tolerated.
“He has authorized the hiring of 20,000 more police officers, increasing the total number of new hires under his leadership to an astounding 50,000 personnel—the biggest security increase in recent memory.
“These actions are not aesthetic. A president who refuses to give terrorists or their political backers even a single inch of Nigerian territory is taking these calculated, extensive steps.
“President Tinubu offers capacity, while the opposition sells fear. He fortifies Nigeria domestically while they complain elsewhere.
