Ten entries were chosen for the voting stage of the first season of the American Cola Club Talent competition in Nigeria, which took place over five weeks on various digital platforms. DJMafdee (@bitrusmosesbugama) was declared the winner.
After roughly 14 years in the business, Bitrus Moses Bugama (DjMafdee) is passionate about directing the crowd and blending rhythms. As the competition’s winner, American Cola has given him a cash award of 1.5 million naira, a year’s worth of access to a music streaming platform, a year’s worth of American Cola drink, upcoming media appearances, and a community impact project that the company would fully support.
DJ TemzBusyTm (@temz_the_dj) was the competition’s first runner-up, followed by dancer Adetutu (@_therealadetutu).
The American Cola Club Talent initiative was started by the company with the goals of empowering young people in Nigeria, encouraging self-expression, and giving them a stage on which their unique talents might develop into genuine chances.
