Omotola Narrates Scary Encounter With Assailants Who Tried to Rape Her

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, a seasoned Nollywood actress, talked about how she once went to a dangerous neighborhood in Mushin, Lagos State, to look for money to assist pay her brother’s tuition.

During an interview on The Afropolitan Show, the actress reportedly discussed the experience and clarified that she was just 15 years old at the time.

She claims that a film industry colleague sent her to the region to meet several men who were well-known for making loans.

Before arriving at the location where the men were waiting, Omotola clarified that they had to navigate a challenging situation.

According to her, the individuals were regarded as dangerous and were well-known in the community for handling debts.

She recalled that her brother needed to pay his school tuition, so when she got there, she begged them for financial assistance.

The actress claimed that because she was young and surrounded by males who were known for causing problems, the scenario was intimidating. Although she acknowledged that the encounter might have gone horribly, she feels safe and unharmed.

“There was also a time when a colleague in the industry took me to some place in Mushin, some ghetto place,” she stated. We strolled across this untamed area. At the time, I was around fifteen years old. When we arrived, these terrible boys were in a living room. I pleaded with them, saying that I needed money for my brother’s school tuition. I could have been raped by the way this guy looked at me.

The actress claimed that in the end, the men consented to give her the money she had asked for. But when it came time to pay back the debt, she encountered difficulties.

She said that she was unable to give the money back as promised. Due to the outstanding debt, this caused friction with the lenders, who started threatening her.

She clarified that the men later went to her house to confront her family. In order to get the money they thought they were entitled, they removed a few things from the house during that visit, including the family’s TV and DVD player.
