Bishop David Oyedepo, Chancellor of Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State, has counseled the nation’s youth to take complete responsibility for their life in order to avoid failure in the future.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Ota, Oyedepo, the President of Living Faith Church International, offered the counsel.

He asserts that accountability is the price of any great destiny and that no one is a failure until they find someone to blame.

Oyedepo emphasized that a person would undoubtedly become a liability later in life if they did not accept responsibility at a young age.

Noting that they would have no one to blame for their future failure, he urged the young people to embrace the virtue of responsibility.

It’s up to you whether you succeed or fail in life.

Every star has a scar, and every star’s scar is a sacrifice.

He asserted, “You do not have a chance when you leave your life to chance.”

Nothing diminishes a man’s value more than a lack of character, Oyedepo added, encouraging the young to choose honesty as a way of life.

He asserts that it is clear that young people are what the world is waiting for and that they cannot afford to let destiny and the bright future that lies ahead of them down.
