Kabiru Tanimu Turaki’s wing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has warned the public not to engage with specific party members, claiming that they have been expelled.

In a statement signed by Turaki on Thursday, the faction named former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, and nine other individuals who are no longer PDP members or hold any positions in the party due to their expulsion.

The message cautioned that as the PDP has not approved any transactions with the individuals on the list, doing so is extremely risky.

Ezenwo Wike, Samuel Anyanwu, Ayo Fayose, Umar Bature, Kamaldeen Ajibade, Mao Ohuabunwa, George Turnah, Dan Orbih, Austin Nwachukwu, Mon’d Abdulrahman, and Abraham Amah were among the PDP members dismissed by Turaki.

“This is to inform the general public that the following individuals whose pictures and names appear below are no longer members of the People Democratic Party (PDP) nor hold any office in the Party, having been expelled from the Party at the Year 2025 Elective National Convention held on November 15–16, 2025 at Ibadan, Oyo State in accordance with the Constitution of our Party (as amended),” the disclaimer states.

“Our wonderful Party has not approved any communications or statements made by these expelled members.

As a result, people who interact with these people do so at their own risk.

According to reports, the disclaimer comes after a previous statement by the Wike-aligned PDP group that reiterated the expulsion of certain party members.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by its National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, the group cautioned the public about imposters who continue to pose as party members.

According to the statement, the National Executive Committee dismissed the concerned people on November 18 in compliance with the modified 2017 PDP Constitution due to suspected anti-party activities and gross misconduct.
