The Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) alliance has decided to cooperate, according to Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) 2023 presidential candidate, and no one is resigning for him.

According to reports, Peter Obi revealed this on Sunday night during a 𝕏 Space.

Additionally, the former governor of Anambra State made it clear that he is not required to formally join the ADC.

Peter Obi claims that he has been a part of the coalition since its founding and has always been a member of the ADC.

Additionally, Obi stated that he will always respect Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president.

“I am not joining ADC,” he declared. I am unable to rejoin something I already belong to.

“I have been a member of the coalition since its inception.

“No one in ADC is resigning for me.

“Atiku is still my respected leader, and we have all decided to collaborate.”

In an interview with Punch, a senior ADC official in Abuja said that Peter Obi’s allies and supporters had started making plans for his defection.

According to the source, Peter Obi met with David Mark, the National Chairman of the ADC, to reaffirm his commitment to the coalition after the party urged him to decide whether or not to join three weeks prior.

He claimed that the previous governor of Anambra State may have been persuaded to join the ADC by the party’s stance.

He claims that on December 31, Peter will host a declaration rally in Enugu, the South-East’s political hub.
