According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Real Madrid is apparently considering a €100 million deal for Victor Osimhen, a striker for Galatasaray.
The Nigerian forward is allegedly being targeted by the European powerhouses in order to relieve Kylian Mbappé of his primary attacking position.
Osimhen would lead the line as the team’s main striker, while Mbappé would revert to the left flank, which is generally considered to be his most natural and dangerous position.
According to the source, Osimhen is viewed by Madrid as a pure striker who consistently scores goals, has explosive pace, and excellent finishing.
His muscular presence, movement in the box, and pressing skills are reportedly exactly what the team needs to finish its attacking structure.
Remember that Osimhen was permanently signed by Galatasaray last summer for €75 million?
Before accepting any negotiations, the club would be looking for a sizable profit. The Turkish champions won’t let him go cheaply since they are aware of his growing market value.
Since moving to Istanbul, Osimhen has been in exceptional form and has swiftly emerged as Galatasaray’s lucky charm this season.
Osimhen has scored numerous goals in all competitions, contributed countless assists, and stood out for his work ethic, link-up skills, and pivotal performances in pivotal games. Galatasaray’s successful domestic and European campaign has been largely due to his performances.
Although it’s still unknown if Galatasaray will take Madrid’s offer into consideration, the Super Eagles striker’s performance has put him squarely in the spotlight.
Real Madrid is anticipated to step up their efforts as the summer transfer window draws near in an attempt to reorganize their attack for the upcoming campaign.
