Regina Daniels, a well-known Nollywood actress, has pleaded with Nigerians to refrain from disparaging her mother Rita Daniels because of her marital problems.
According to reports, Regina’s family members have accused her estranged husband Ned Nwoko of detaining her brother and threatening to keep him there until she makes the decision to return home and seek treatment.
The actress was seen screaming that her husband was abusing her in a widely shared film, which sparked a falling out between the two.
Nwoko, however, insisted that his wife was a drug addict and denied hitting her.
Regina’s mother was accused by some online users for allowing her to wed the congressman.
The actress clarified that her mother was not to blame for her choice in a video that she posted on her Instagram page.
She claims that despite her family’s advice not to wed Nwoko, she disregarded them since she was in love.
The mother of two claimed that when her family attempted to prevent her from marrying the billionaire, she ran away in the middle of the night.
“Please stop insulting my mom is really the main essence of this video,” she stated.
Hey Biko, put an end to it. Please, Biko, stop. Look, I really feel like I owe you all this explanation for some reason.
“Know why? I’m not sure why everyone is upset about my life. However, I don’t think any of you are suffering negatively. You’re upset because you spent your money—was it 200 or 500 Naira—to get my CD so that you could all see my movie when you were younger.
“Oh, I appreciate it. It’s okay, and it’s OK. It’s okay since I’m the center of attention.
“It’s alright, everyone has a voice. That’s why I’m giving this explanation. So don’t offend my mother, please.
“The best thing that has ever occurred to me is her. My god on earth is her.
She’s powerful, huh? For seven fucking… Children, please watch this video. My mom kept it down for seven years.
“She made an attempt. She tried, despite the insults from all of you. She made an attempt.
“I’m it. I am the one. Issy’s head.
“I’m it. I’m so embarrassed to admit that I fell in love. Sort of shit.
However, I did, in fact. And what I did is absurd. They all answered no.
“Huh, my mom? Please hurry up. You guys need to quit claiming that I married for money. Please excuse me.
No, we weren’t impoverished. Does that sound reasonable? What are your thoughts, secondly? For example, how much money can a guy offer a mother to purchase a child who is essentially taking care of everything in the house? In actuality, that is She trained all of her children with this youngster. As in, thru this child.
As in, what? What else is there? She made all of her money from that child. I was a gift to my mother and a blessing. To settle her, God used me.
It is my responsibility to ensure her eternal happiness. She has endured suffering on our sake. You continue to disrespect her as well.
“Well, stop. Put an end to disparaging my mom. Why tell a falsehood? She is the greatest woman in the planet.
“She is.” Indeed, she is. Indeed, she is.
“She is.” She forewarned me. I was cautioned by my brothers.
“Everyone cautioned me.” This camera will not cause anyone to cry. I was cautioned by all.
“After that, I drove away at night. If I didn’t marry Ned, I would kill myself. I was being sought after by everyone.
“My brothers were fighting and shattering bottles.” For example, the Nigerian police… As I mentioned, everyone was aware. My family doesn’t want me to marry the love of my life, so I went to the police station and told them to arrest me. In reality, though, I fell in love with him. Although it’s absurd, I did
