The Supreme Court’s ruling acknowledging Senator Esther Nenadi Usman as the party’s national chairperson has been praised by the leaders and members of the Labour Party Kaduna State Chapter.
A statement published by its Kaduna state chairman of the party, Elder Yusuf Solomon Danbaki said, “This triumph marks the end of a challenging journey and the beginning of a renewed era for our great party.”

“We have always known you as a kind, patient, but tough fighter who plays the game strictly within the rules,” he continued. We have all been inspired by your steadfast dedication to justice, equity, and due process, which shows that genuine leadership persists by tenacity and integrity.

The Labour Party Kaduna State Chapter, according to Danbaki, is extremely proud of her historic accomplishment as the first and only female party chairman of Nigeria’s first three political parties. She emphasized that this milestone not only improves the standing of women in Nigerian politics but also establishes a significant precedent for future generations.

“To our distinguished members throughout Kaduna State, we reiterate our commitment to upholding the ethos of your post-victory declaration in court: “no victor, no conquer.” We pledge to cooperate in this direction, promoting harmony and reconciliation without animosity or division,” the statement said.

The state chairman urged any of their members who could have switched parties during the unpredictable time to come back to the Labour Party, where their opinions and contributions are more important than ever.

“Together, we can overcome challenges and chart a path forward,” he said, urging everyone who has been wronged to put aside their concerns and work together to create a stronger, more inclusive party.

In order to prepare for congresses and the national convention, Danbaki stated that the party under the chairwoman would shortly release its schedule of events.

He promised that by taking these actions, their structures will be revitalized and put in a better position to serve the Nigerian people.
