According to former Kogi West senator Dino Melaye, President Bola Tinubu is against holding polls the next year.

Melaye added that the All Progressive Congress, or APC, has grown extremely desperate in a Thursday morning speech on Channels Television.

“The APC has become so desperate,” he remarked. They have observed that the only opposition we have in Nigeria is ADC.

They are terrified after witnessing the migration of individuals from different political parties into the ADC.

“Why they are in a panic astounds me. Why are you scared when you claim to have thirty-two governors?

It is not related to ADC. It’s all about democracy.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president, desires coronation. He has no desire for an election.

“Kabiyesi mentality is what it is.”

Melaye’s remarks coincide with the removal of David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola’s identities as National Chairman and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, or ADC, respectively, from INEC’s official website.

Additionally, the electoral commission declared that it would not identify party fractions or keep an eye on any conventions or congresses hosted by organizations that support the impacted leaders.
