According to George Agbakahi, the coordinator of the President Bola Tinubu Support Group, many people in the southeast now view the All Progressives Congress (APC) as their preferred political platform.
Agbakahi said that Tinubu has made significant contributions to the Southeast during a Friday interview on Arise Television’s The Morning Show.
According to him, a lot of Igbo people are now changing their political stance because they think the area made a “huge mistake” in how they voted in the general elections of 2023.
He mentioned the recent APC zonal congress in Enugu, which he said was well-attended by party members, stakeholders, and non-members and that it demonstrated growing support for the party in the area.
Additionally, Agbakahi praised President Bola Tinubu for what he called notable advancements in infrastructure and industrialization throughout the nation, particularly in the South-East.
