Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, the North-West Youth Leader of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign organization in Zamfara State, has been kidnapped by gunmen who are thought to be bandits.
Security analyst Bakatsine revealed the incident in a post on X on Thursday.
The article claims that during the raid, more than thirty armed men broke into Gusau’s house in Gusau town and took him away.
The family was allegedly distressed when the kidnapping occurred in front of his wife.
Bakatsine revealed that although security services were notified right away, there has been no success in finding the victim thus far.
In response to the event, the security analyst questioned whether violent attacks would continue in the area and how long Zamfara inhabitants would have to live in fear of banditry.
“Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, North-West Youth Leader of Tinubu/Shettima, Zamfara Chapter, is kidnapped by gunmen believed to be bandits. In front of his wife, more than thirty armed men broke into his Gusau home and kidnapped him. Security services were notified, but there is currently no sign.
He wrote, “How long will these bandit attacks continue?”
The incident has not received an official response from security authorities as of the time this article was filed.
