Chille Igbawua, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has said that the party would give all aspirants a level playing ground.
This was stated by Igbawua on Monday in a live interview on Channels Television’s programme ‘The Morning Brief’.
He was speaking ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying the party had published its manifestoes and constitution.
“The party (ADC) is ready to expose all members to a fair competition and to give a level playing ground for everybody who is a member and who wants to contest election in any office.
“So we are still selling those documents, the manifesto and the policy document of the ADC,” he said.
This is less than 24 hours after the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP counterpart, Rabi’u Kwankwaso left the ADC for the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC.
