A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Ladan Salihu, has described the court cases against the ADC as an avenue to ambush it and create a one-way traffic for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, in 2027 general elections.
This was stated by him on Friday in a live interview on Channels Television’s programme ‘Politics Today’.
He was talking about the leadership crisis in the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
“They have his signature on the resignation letter and Nafiu Bala Gombe has resigned from his position in the party,” he said.
“This case has been resolved. It is all in a trap to ambush the ADC and to make sure that a pathway is created for the APC and the presidential candidate to have a one way traffic to 2027.
“Our lawyers are all over this. The fact is Nafiu Gombe resigned. Salihu said, “We have his papers, we have his signatures, we have everything and this guy is a willing tool in the hands of the APC and the government.
