2027: Peter Obi is inconsequential – Kenneth Okonkwo

Kenneth Okonkwo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, says whatever Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra state does with his life is of no consequence.

Okonkwo made the statement on Thursday on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

On being asked his ultimate goal on Peter Obi, the Nollywood veteran turned politician said he wants to talk about contenders in 2027 and not pretenders.

“I have just been appointed as the spokesman of Atiku Abubakar, so Obi is irrelevant in whatever he is doing in his life. Can we get on to more important things?

I want to talk about contenders in 2027, not pretenders. Can you take somebody down who’s already down?

Okonkwo was unveiled on Thursday by Atiku, the ADC’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, as his spokesman.
