…. assures NBA of Goverment Commitment to Rule of law
The Principal Special Assistant To The Governor of Benue State on Legal Matters, Ms Seember Wayo Esq has congratulated the chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) chairman elect, Joseph Mtemdoo Gbaygo Esq ACIarb(UK), on his recent election as the Makurdi branch chairman of the association. In a press release to journalist in makurdi, Governor Alia maintained that Barr Gbagyo’s election was a testament to his long years of commitment to the bar as well as the bench in the effective administration of the rule of law in the state, which sacrifices have found him worthy of recognition for higher responsibility leading to his elections as branch chairman of the prestigious association. The statement admonished Barr Gbagyo to view his elevation as a platform to contribute to the collective growth and stability of the state.
“Our administration’s vision which is anchored on a deep commitment to the rule of law is proud to identify with your professional and individual attributes that moulded you for this role. “Rest assured that our government stands committed to support your work for the effective administration of the rule of law in Benue state”
The statement further added that the election of Barr Mtemdoo Gbaygo is a call to higher responsibility as the government
has confidence in the chairman’s elect ability and his entire EXCO to justify the confidence in them , urging the new NBA leadership to rise to the occasion and prioritize the collective interests of the State above all.”Not only is the state proud of you, it is identifying with you based on your track record of service and antecedents, hinged on the virtues of integrity, capacity, exposure and your outstanding intellectual abilities, expressing confidence that the state judiciary will be uplifted by your contributions in the overall interest of the state.
Governor Alia emphasized that his administration prioritizes the rule of law as a fundamental state policy hence the need to work closely with the new NBA leadership for the good of Benue people.
