Recently, xenophobic tensions left many residents in fear; Nigerians evacuated from South Africa have arrived in Lagos.
The evacuees arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Thursday, on an Air Peace aircraft.
Their return followed the Federal Government’s efforts in response to renewed attacks on foreign nationals in South Africa.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had said that the first group will return on Thursday morning.
