President Bola Tinubu has ordered the Armed Forces, Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and other security agencies to increase operations in Kaduna State after a deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area.
It was reported that the President directed the security agencies to trace the attackers and rescue the victims abducted and restore peace in the affected communities.
The attack, which reportedly claimed about 30 lives including women and children, was condemned by Tinubu who gave the directive on Tuesday.

Several houses were also said to have been set ablaze in the incident.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President said the attack was a barbaric and cowardly act against innocent residents.
“Justice will not elude the perpetrators, Tinubu warned.
He said criminal elements seeking to disrupt the relative peace and improved security in Kaduna State would be decisively dealt with.
The President also extended his condolences to the families of the victims, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government and the people of the state.
Tinubu assured the affected communities of the Federal Government’s support, stressing that his administration was determined to tackle insecurity across the country.
“I have directed the Armed Forces, police and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations across the affected areas to track down the perpetrators swiftly, secure the release of abducted individuals and restore normalcy to the region,” the President said.
He added that the government would continue to upgrade security infrastructure and equip personnel involved in responding to violent attacks.
“Our administration is committed to strengthening security infrastructure, equipping response personnel and neutralizing criminal networks that are trying to disrupt the peace of the nation,” Tinubu said.
The President appealed to residents of the affected communities and the general public to support the ongoing operation by providing timely and useful information to security agencies.
“I call upon our local communities to help security forces by providing actionable intelligence that would inform early response efforts,” he said.
Tinubu reiterated his administration’s commitment to the protection of lives and property and assured Nigerians that the ongoing operations to cripple criminal networks will continue across the country.
He said the Federal Government would continue to make efforts to restore peace and forestall further attacks in Kaduna and other parts of the federation.
