‘The Man Who Led Us To Win 2015, 2019 Elections’ – Buhari’s Ex-Aide Visits Amaechi

The immediate Senior Special Assistant to the late President Muhammadu Buhari, Garba Shehu, has visited the Vice Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rotimi Amaechi.

This was disclosed by Garba Shehu in a post on his social media handle on Sunday.

He said he visited the former Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council over the death of his mother.

Garba Shehu tweeted: “Today, I paid a condolence visit to the man who led us in winning the 2015 and 2019 general elections as DG, HE Rotimi Amaechi, following the demise of his mother, Mrs Mary Amaechi who passed away at the age of 89. – Garba Shehu pic.twitter.com/7Af3l8w6bL

“God give him the strength to take the loss.”

Remember that the former Governor of Rivers State and Minister of Transportation, Amaechi lost his mother Mary Amaechi at 89.

The family announced her death in a statement issued by the Rotimi Amaechi Media Office, saying the matriarch died peacefully.

The family described the late Mary Amaechi as a God-fearing woman, a leader of the society who dedicated her life to promoting peace, unity and selfless service.

“The late Mrs Mary Amaechi was a loving matriarch who kept her family together in love, peace and unity. She was a leader in the community of women and a leader in Christianity, the statement said, highlighting her strong and resolute faith in God.

The family said the woman was well-loved in her community and beyond for her compassion, generosity and constant support for others.

The statement continued: “She was loved and highly respected in her community and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness and unwavering support for those around her and beyond.”

The family also thanked people for the outpouring of sympathy and condolences following her death.
