The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream I Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, September 30, and end on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
According to the statement, registration of prospective corps members will begin on Wednesday, September 30, and close on Friday, October 2, 2026, while the swearing-in ceremony will hold on Friday, October 2, 2026.
The three-week orientation exercise will take place in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all prospective corps members and course officials a safe journey to their respective orientation camps.
He also urged prospective corps members to avoid night travel and board vehicles only at designated motor parks.
